Welcome to eucen‘s monthly bulletin! Season’s Greetings from eucen As 2025 comes to a close, we celebrate a year of collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning across Europe and beyond. The latest issue of the eucen Journal of University Lifelong Learning (EJULL, Vol. 9, Issue 2) is now available! Emerging from the 2025 eucen Conference in Lille, it features 12 insightful papers from 9 different countries. Our gratitude goes to the authors and reviewers for their dedication and contributions. Looking ahead, the 56th eucen Annual Conference in Cagliari, Italy (03–05 June 2026) will explore “Empowering Futures: Lifelong Learning, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in a Changing World.” Book the dates and join us to share innovations, discuss emerging trends, and strengthen connections across Europe. Programme and registration details coming soon! The MESHE project has officially launched in December, aiming to build a European micro-credentials exchange system. By enabling flexible and collaboration between HEIs, MESHE will enhance mobility, cooperation, and innovation in higher education. Two deadlines for 15 January: The INCLUDE ME+ survey to contribute to the creation of a safer, more inclusive digital spaces closes on this date. The Call for Papers for the EDEN 2026 conference in Porto “Beyond Technology: Human–AI Collaboration for Learning and Teaching” will be launched on 15 Januaryoii. Do not mis the deadlines! MESHE: Shaping a European Micro-Credentials Exchange
The MESHE project has just officially launched this month! Its goal is to design a European micro-credentials exchange system, enabling HEIs to share and recognise short, flexible learning achievements across borders. MESHE will strengthen mobility, cooperation, and innovation in HE, paving the way for a truly interconnected European learning ecosystem.
IncludeME+ wants your feedback on building inclusive digital spaces
INCLUDE ME+ invites you to shape safer, more inclusive digital spaces. Discover new European research on digital media, inclusion, and peacebuilding and help refine it with your feedback. Share your voice by 15 January 2026. Influence future inclusive digital practices through participating in this collaborative survey.
EDEN Porto AC 2026 – Call for Papers
EDEN 2026 goes to Porto to explore “Beyond Technology: Human–AI Collaboration for Learning and Teaching.” Join educators and researchers to examine inclusive, ethical, and relational approaches to AI in education, from wellbeing and pedagogy to assessment and institutional transformation.
