Welcome to eucen’s monthly bulletin! We hope you have had a restful summer and are ready for the months ahead. As we look towards an active autumn, this edition brings you some highlights we particularly want to share with you.First, our 2026 eucen Autumn Seminar is approaching! Join us in Barcelona this November to explore The Two Faces of ULLL: Employability and Social Mission and discuss whether these two dimensions can truly go hand in hand.We are also pleased to present eucen Position Paper No. 13, Beyond the False Divide: The Public Value of University Lifelong Learning. The paper challenges the idea that ULLL should be understood primarily through employability and competitiveness, and makes the case for recognising its wider economic, social, civic and personal value.Also, some exciting news for eucen members! We are finalising a brand-new Members’ Room section.
