Now in ELM: Resilience for job seekers, digital tools for adult education
Dear ELM reader,
Resilience takes many forms. This month, we explore the confidence needed to re-enter the job market. Cecilia Forsythe of Adult Learning Wales shares how resilience and confidence-building are shaping employability courses. We’re also featuring Margherita Pina of the University of Macerata in our “Young Voices” series, reflecting on integrating AI and digital tools into adult education. We hope you find these articles an interesting read. Katriina Palo-Närhinen Editor-in-Chief

These Q&A-style interviews are conducted via email, making it easy to share your thoughts and experiences. We are seeking young adults, professionals and practitioners, as well as master’s and doctoral students. If a colleague or friend comes to mind who would be a good fit, we would also appreciate any recommendations or introductions. Contact us at: elm@kvs.fi Katriina Palo-Närhinen Editor-in-Chief

Webinar “Challenge-Based Learning – European University Alliances Perspectives” (11 September)
ECIU University Challenge-Based Learning webinar
Dear partners,
We hope this email finds you well.
We would like to invite you to participate in the webinar “Challenge-Based Learning – European University Alliances Perspectives”, organised by ECIU University (European Consortium of Innovative Universities), taking place on 11 September at 12:00 CEST.
EUGLOH has been featured by ECIU as an inspiring example in its recent policy paper on Challenge-Based Learning and Future Skills, particularly through the EUGLOH Living Labs initiative, as part of Work Package 4, which places CBL at the core of the Alliance’s educational strategy.
The webinar will bring together Challenge-Based Learning experts, policymakers, higher education leaders, students and external stakeholders, fostering a shared reflection on the role of Challenge-Based Learning in developing future skills and shaping the transformation of European higher education.
We would greatly appreciate your support in disseminating this initiative within your networks and communities.

Kind regards,
The EUGLOH Team at U.Porto
