This year, the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) celebrates its 70th anniversary. As the only institute in the United Nations system wholly devoted to lifelong learning, UIL has supported countries around the world in developing robust policies and practices that provide everyone with the chance to learn. 

Advancing literacy, advocating for quality adult education for those who need it most, and enhancing lifelong learning opportunities in over 290 cities in every world region represent just a few of UIL’s key achievements. A comprehensive overview of the Institute’s history along with testimonials about the importance of lifelong learning can be found in this virtual anniversary exhibition.

Tanuló Városok és Közösségek 4. Nemzetközi Konferenciája Pécsett – hybrid esemény zoom rendszerben

Téma: Urbanizált Közösségek fejlesztése az egész életen át tartó tanuláson keresztül. Tanuló városok és Közösségek válaszai

Az esemény fókusza: Ez az intenzív program lehetősét teremt ahhoz, hogy a téma iránt érdeklődő résztvevők betekintést nyerjenek a tanuló városok és Közösségek néhány karakteres modelljébe és ezek gyakorlatába, különös tekintettel a helyi és regionális partnerségek sajátos dimenzióira. A plenáris ülés keretében japán, francia, szlovák, ír, magyar és holland példákat mutatnak be az előadók. A program második felében egy interaktív dialógust keretében vitatják meg a résztvevők  a közösségi képességek fejlesztésének kihívásait a tanuló városokat érintő lehetőségek és korlátok tükrében. Ezt a találkozót az ASEM Lifelong Learning HUB, a PASCAL’s Learning City Network, az UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, a MELLearN – Felsőoktatási LLL Hálózat, az EPALE Magyarország, a Bethlen Gábor Alap, a PTE  és Pécs MJ Város Önkormányzata támogatja. Együttműködő partnerünk az ASEM LLL HUB, a PASCAL Int. Observatory és az UNESCO Lifelong Learning Intézet.

Pécs város ezt az eseményt kétévente rendezi meg, mely a Pécsi Tanuló Város Fesztivál tudástranszfer eleme, ez is hozzájárul ahhoz, hogy a tanulást ünnepljük, történjék az formális, non-formális, vagy informális környezetben. Idén a gazdag program-kínálatot 52 partner intézmény/szervezet kínálja 85 programon keresztül 2022. szeptember 22. és 24. között. Pécs belvárosában és intézményi helyszíneken.

Reméljük, hogy a Konferencia és a Fesztivál résztvevői segítenek a tanulás sajátos, élményalapú útjainak bemutatásában mely egyszerre nyújt örömöt, értéket és megbecsülést a közösségben.
