Welcome to eucen’s monthly bulletin! The Call is closed now. Our next call will be published in June connected to the 2025 eucen Autumn Seminar that we will dedicate to AI. More details will be soon shared, but you can already mark on your calendar 13-14 November. For the moment, do not forget that the registration process to the eucen conference organised by the University of Lille is still open! See below more info about this event. The Call for Contributions to the 55th eucen conference in Lille will close in March! Do not forget to submit your piece in the next days, before the portal closes. And do not forget to register for the next eucen conference organised by the University of Lille! We have news about the presenters that we have confirmed!
The online eucen Seminar Across the Atlantic is now almost ready. We have already over 50 participants registered. We will be talking about ULLL for health and wellbeing on Wednesday 30 April at 16:00CET. In Memoriam Paul Bélanger
2025. január végén elhunyt Paul Bélanger, a Montreali Egyetem tanára, a hamburgi UNESCO UIl (UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning) korábbi igazgatója.
Paul neves kanadai felnőttoktatóként, kutató és fejlesztő szakemberként számos, az életen át tartó tanulás témájával foglalkozó kolléga gondolkodását befolyásolta humanisztikus, tanuló központú felfogásával.
Jelentős érdeme, hogy megvalósult Hamburgban az V. Felnőttoktatási Világtalálkozó (UNESCO CONFINTEA V.), amely sokak felnőttképzési felfogását formálta, átformálta és meghatározó irányokba vitte el innovatív, tanulás- és tanuló-központú elvekre építve.
A magyarországi felnőttképzés világában is felbukkant, amikor a felnőttképzés kutatásával foglalkozó konferencián üdvözölhettük hazánkban az 1990-es évek végén a DVV-International vendégeként!
Személyiségét leginkább a tanulási felfogását tükröző írása mutatja meg markánsan, melyet ajánlunk az olvasó figyelmébe:
