Join Us for the Food Includes International Virtual Workshop!

We invite you to join the Food Includes International Virtual Workshop, an opportunity to explore inclusive, food-based approaches to adult learning! The workshop will take place online on 30 September 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (CET).

The Food Includes project is dedicated to promoting inclusion, upskilling, and flexible learning in adult education and lifelong learning by using food as a powerful and relatable learning context. This workshop is for adult educators, marginalised adult learners, or educational networks and stakeholder organisations.

During the workshop, participants will get a first look at the Food Includes Open Educational Resources (OERs) designed to support educators in creating more inclusive, engaging, and practical learning environments. Participants will be introduced to the materials and will have the opportunity to provide feedback that will help shape the project’s final outcomes.

INCLUDE ME+ aims to develop an educational programme to empower HEI, media, CSO’s and students to become responsible and active collaborators in shaping the future of digital media in order to promote and establish inclusion, participation and peacebuilding across Europe.
New research explores the role of digital media in fostering Inclusion, Participation, and Peacebuilding across Europe The INCLUDE ME+ project proudly announces the release of its comprehensive Mediation in Media Study—an in-depth exploration of the current state of digital media in Europe.  This newly published study, that examines how digital media is both shaping, and being shaped by, efforts to create safer, more inclusive online spaces across Europe, brings together two key research reports: A Desk Research Report, offering a detailed overview of the European digital media landscape, including current legislation, policy initiatives, and current challenges to an inclusive digital environment. A Participatory Action Research (PAR) Report, based on direct input from representatives of students, civil society organizations, digital media creators, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and experts, highlighting real-life experiences, community challenges, and innovative practices in inclusive media-making. Together, these reports provide vital insights into how digital platforms can serve as spaces of visibility, safety, and voice for marginalized communities. The research was carried out by partners across Denmark, Finland, Germany, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine, with additional EU-wide insights. “We believe that media can be a powerful force for social transformation,” says the INCLUDE ME+ consortium. “This study is a call to action for media professionals, students, educators, and civil society to rethink how we create and share content.” 📥 Download the full study now: Mediation in Media Study The findings from this research will directly inform the upcoming INCLUDE ME+ educational programme, which will equip media professionals, HEI educators, students, and CSOs with the tools and strategies to create responsible, inclusive, and participatory media across Europe. Explore the findings. Rethink digital inclusion. Be part of the change.
